about

This is a new one I'm working on with the band. Lyrics are in beta, but I wanted to post something so the guys have an online version of the song to reference.

lyrics

we live what we sin, let the right one in
we are where we been

legs of mice and men carry what they can
gotta git where you get

surfs up young Sidhartha
party starts with or without ya

strange times indeed, you are what you need
we grow what we feed

backs of mice and men crack the same in the end
heavy feet descend

the Mike Tysons and Jesus Christers
pulling blood and buying tigers

grab your next of kin, the valley floods that's it
let the right one in

surface level's the fin, we are where we been
we swim where we're in

heart of darkness sits on it's haunches
we can't help but poke and taunt it

"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro"

here's some pro tips:

1) Keep a scream journal. Scream into a camera or microphone at least once a day. Any word or sound will work. "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK" seems to work for me.

2) Dance for 5 minutes daily. Dance on the way to the bathroom or kitchen. Dance as ugly as you can.

3) Make funny faces. Sit in front of a mirror and get strange.
