about

This is the third in a series of three songs that I wrote inspired by a conversation with Adam Robinson on Tim Ferris podcast number 219.

lyrics

it was the Year of the Fulcrum Pivot
his dance moves were blocks of rust
she stepped on his toes till feet flowed
they sailed off fit to bust

he wasn't big on games of chance
cautiously he threw down on black
she bet on red, she lit up his head
he pushed in his entire stack

so close, so far away
the word sits dumb on the tip of a tongue
in a mouth that's too proud to pray

it was the Year of the Fulcrum Pivot
she took his rough farmer hand
into the world like a flag unfurled
she was the cloth of his thought, his breath

so close, so far away
the word sits dumb on the tip of a tongue
in a head that don't know how to pray

Hi there. You can sign up for my mailing list here: eepurl.com/bcruFT

I post a song once a week on Tuesdays. If I've just finished a song I'll record a rough demo and put it up. Sometimes its live recordings or weird electro collages. I also make a video most weeks using public domain footage. Check it out!

Thanks for taking the time to check out my music!
