WSP 095 Into the Moon

lyrics

into the moon, into the lake
oh how bad I want to kiss your face

you are the moon and I am the wave
we meet on the surface

mud on my sandals, sand in my eye
mud on my toenails, you in the sky

if I could fly I'd meet you there
where no one or nothing could hurt us

you who move the ocean so blue
I swear I feel my blood moving too

mortality advertised in neon spotlight
you whisper the reasons that we must die

if I could fly I'd meet you there
where no one or nothing could hurt us

about

Jonathan Burks Milwaukee, Wisconsin

"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro"

here's some pro tips:

1) Keep a scream journal. Scream into a camera or microphone at least once a day. Any word or sound will work. "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK" seems to work for me.

2) Dance for 5 minutes daily. Dance on the way to the bathroom or kitchen. Dance as ugly as you can.

3) Make funny faces. Sit in front of a mirror and get strange.
